An Insight Into Our Most Luxe Collection Yet

Our Twilight Escape collection has arrived, and it’s ready to transition your wardrobe into cosy season with all the beauty of a sky at twilight. There’s easy separates, rich-textured co-ords and soft sets to slip into no matter how you choose to hibernate. And all crafted to help you lounge in the most indulgent way possible, whether it's relaxing on the patio on a crisp autumnal morning or exploring the great outdoors before darkness descends.

To take you through the inspiration behind this brand-new line-up, we interviewed Evie – our Print & Graphic Design Assistant – who’s created some of our most beloved motifs.

What was the inspiration behind Twilight Escape?

"This collection has a unique blend of inspirations. It’s dark yet uplifting, combining the rich palette of atmospheric skies before they roll into midnight and the charm of our favourite CP animals – along with some new countryside-dwelling ones, too.

Overall, we wanted to capture the feeling of being nestled in a luxury escape, whatever that looks like to our customers. They could be snuggled by a roaring fire, wrapped up in the softness of a plush fleece robe, or strolling beneath bright twilight skies in a silky printed co-ord. In this collection, we invite everyone to step into their most relaxing and restorative lounge time."

 

 

 

 

  

What are your three favourite prints and why?

"Our new Horses Print is the first, as it spotlights one of my favourite animals. To bring it to life, I carefully hand-drew each motif and then used a digital printing technique. The result is luxurious – a more whimsical addition to our animal kingdom.

"Look out for the ginger cocker spaniel – he’s inspired by my own dog, Woody!"

My second favourite is our Hidden Leopard Print, as it’s bold and has an abstract element, which further evolves our most popular Leopard Prints. And finally, I had to include our Posh Dogs Print. Who doesn’t love a pooch, after all? Inspired by the British countryside, this pattern features multiple breeds wearing an assortment of cute hats and coats. Look out for the ginger cocker spaniel – he’s inspired by my own dog, Woody!"

 

 

 

 

 

What makes Twilight Escape different from other collections?

"This collection has to be our most luxurious and exciting yet. We’ve explored digital printing, elevated our trims and introduced fabrics and finishes that are perfect for dressier occasions – think sparkling lurex and swishy sequin-adorned cuffs and hems.

We’ve combined design techniques, bringing together rich jacquard satin and intricate screen-printed motifs. And we’ve even experimented with a burnout method on fleece and velour. As a result, Twilight Escape is much richer in texture and our prints have even more depth."

 

 

 

 

 

 

In three words, how would you describe Twilight Escape?

"There’s so much to say about this collection, so this is a difficult one! But if I could only use three words, I’d have to say: luxurious, fun and cosy."
